"My husband and I were complete novices to home buying, but Heidi and her team guided us each step of the way. Neither myself nor my husband grew up in homes where financial literacy was a thing. We had to learn through our own life experiences. On top that, I am a free spirited millennial to whom the idea of settling always felt deeply unsettling. But after moving here from NYC and living in Monterey for a year, circumstances aligned so that buying a home made sense. At the same time, we didn't have any prior knowledge of everything that home buying entailed. We didn't understand basic real estate concepts and terms.
